Emma Reads Crime

This is one of those books where I can’t even begin to explain what this story is about but what I can tell you is that I enjoyed it! 😂

It is a character driven story following Irina who is in a rut. She has a dead end job in a bar and her hobbies including photographing average looking men, alcohol, extreme cinema and illegal substances.

The book is definitely one of the most unhinged books I have ever read (in a good way) and it has honestly left me rendered speechless (to make a change)! I absolutely adored Penance by this author and it was my book of 2023. This is nothing like it at all.

It is definitely one of those books where you need to read it and see for yourself!
