This is book 1 of the Detective Robert Hunter Series. A body of a young woman is found to have been brutally murdered and on the nape of her neck, a strange double cross has been carved. This is the signature of a Notorious serial killer, the Crucifix Killer. It seems impossible as the Crucifix Killer was caught and sentenced to death 2 years ago.

This was absolutely fantastic and I am shocked that this is a debut book. It is written so well. The story is complex with so many intricate threads being pulled on.

I cannot believe I’ve not read this series before. Dark and disturbing books where a serial k*ller is on the loose is literally my favourite kind of book (if you’ve been following me on any of my social media accounts, you’ll know I am a sicko 😂)

2024 will be the year of me binging on this entire series! Book 13 has just been released so I have a lot to catch up on 😱

I was incorrect with my main theory but my second theory was correct as I have marked it down half a star (I know, I’m a cow)!
