Book: The Executioner
Author: Chris Carter
Rating: ⭐️4.5/5⭐️
This is book 2 in Robert Hunter series in which a serial killer is killing people with their greatest fears. For example, if a victim is scared of fire, he would burn them to death etc. This can definitely be read as a standalone but seeing as it’s only book 2, you might as well read The Crucifix Killer (book 1) first (link below)!
I would like to claim brilliance and say that I guessed the killer, but on this occasion… I did guess every man and his dog so, it doesn’t count!
Don’t be put off by the 500 pages of length. It has short punchy chapters and you can very easily devour this in a day or two.
I really loved this and I preferred it to book 1. It was almost a 5 star read, but if I tell you why, then it’s a plot spoiler. It you have read this, feel free to message me on my Instagram or TikTok accounts to discuss!! 😀
