Emma Reads Crime

This is told in a mixed media style format following the disappearance of main character, Melanie Lange, a social media star. Sir Peter Lange (her father and billionaire businessman) and sister Zara say she’s unwell and has been admitted to a private mental health clinic. Her ex-husband, Finn, and best friend, Nell, believe she has been kidnapped.

Melanie really reminded me of a cross between Britney and Paris Hilton and was an interesting lead character.

I enjoyed the mixed media elements and I thought all the characters were interesting and they all added to the story in one way or another.

I did find it was a little slow from time to time. Some of the ending was predictable and other parts were so shocking. Overall this was an enjoyable read and this was one which definitely had something to say!
