The 6:20 Man – David Baldacci

Book: The 6:20 Man
Author: David Baldacci
Rating: ⭐️3.5/5⭐️

Travis Devine leaves the army under mysterious circumstances. Now, he does a daily commute on the 6:20am train to his high stress finance job on Wall Street. A close friend of Devine’s, who works in his office is found dead. It was initially deemed suicide but now police are not so sure.

I listened to the audiobook of this and it was actually pretty decent as there is a three person cast!

I would class this as an action thriller which isn’t my favourite of the thriller sub genres. It did take me a while to get into this but I’m glad I stuck it out as I ended up enjoying it!

I was going to give it 4 stars out of 5 but I guessed the main twist and I thought it was painfully obvious so I had to knock my rating down half a star!

I’ve had a look at the plot for book 2 and it looks really good so watch this space for a review of that 👀👀
