‘I expected more of a reaction the first time I hit her.’ is the first sentence of this book and I don’t think I’ve ever come across a hook better than this in a book before!

After the initial hook, I am pleased to say, the rest of the book did not disappoint. It felt like a true life character assessment. The best way I can describe it is sort of like the kind you would see in a TV documentary. It was so fascinating and interesting.

Each chapter is told from different characters POV and at the end of each chapter, I was left wanting more! I was shocked so many times and Liz Nugent has nailed it again 🙌🏻

I did this on audio and there was a full cast and the performance was fantastic! Liz actually picked all of the audio actors and she did such a fantastic job!
