Red Queen – Juan Gómez-Jurado

Book: Red Queen
Author: Juan Gómez-Jurado
Rating: ⭐️3.5/5⭐️

Antonia Scott has solved dozen of crimes and is not and has never been a police woman or lawyer. An unexpected visitor shows up at her flat despite the fact she hasn’t left her Madrid apartment in a while and doesn’t accept visitors.

This was my April book club pick which I have with my friend and I was so so excited for it, especially with the release of book 2 and the upcoming TV series.

There was a mixed bag of feelings at this book when we spoke about it at book club. The star ratings ranged from 1⭐️ to 4⭐️!

The book is split into three main parts. I absolutely loved the first and third part but I found the second section (also the longest section) slow and drab.😭

I’m in two minds about reading Black Wolf, the sequel and watching the TV show!
