Book: The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
Author: Stieg Larsson
Rating: ⭐️3.5/5⭐️
I really believe I am the last person on this planet to read this so I won’t waste your time telling you about the plot.
The book really was not what I was expecting! Lisbeth, the girl with the dragon tattoo felt like more of a sidekick than a main character but maybe that is the point!
The story is complex and I don’t feel books are often written like this anymore so it was a refreshing read in a way. It was dark and if you’ve been following me for a while, the darker the better.
I found the first half of this incredibly slow and there were far too many characters for me to get my head around. I also wasn’t particularly fond of any of the characters.
I thought the second half of the book was absolutely fantastic however. The story focused on less characters and felt less “fluffy.”
I did guess the main twist really early on but if I had read this book 10 years ago, I think it would have blown my mind.
