Author: Freida McFadden
Rating: ⭐️3.5/5⭐️
Publication Date (UK): 28th January
Tegan is 8 months pregnant and her life is in disarray. She decides to drive to visit her brother not realising she is heading straight to a blizzard. She crashes and ends up stranded with a broken ankle. A couple rescue her and let her stay until the snow clears and they can take her to hospital. However, Tegan senses something is not right.
I did a reading challenge on my YouTube channel where I only read Frieda books for a week and of the four I have read, this feels a little different. The story felt more like a traditional thriller as opposed to a Freida thriller (if that makes sense)!
I was sucked in at the beginning and I thought the ending was great. I loved the twist and I felt it made sense, normally I find her twists shocking but random!
It was a little slower paced compared to her other books and I thought the middle needing shortening a little.
However, overall I enjoyed this one and I would recommend it!
