Book: The Locked Door
Author: Freida McFadden
Rating: ⭐️4/5⭐️
11 year old Nora’s father was arrested for being The Handyman, a notorious serial k*ller. In adulthood, Nora is a surgeon and there is a copycat k*ller on the loose and Nora is the police’s number one suspect.
This was another banger from Freida. Honestly, I don’t know what she puts in her writing as her books are incredibly addictive!
This had a great plot and the serial k*ller trope is one of my favourites. The story was more focused on Nora though as opposed to the case. I wasn’t particularly fond of Nora but she was entertaining enough to read about that this didn’t impact on my reading enjoyment.
I really thought I’d had the twist sussed out on this one but alas, I was wrong! Overall, an easy,
fast-paced read to fly through. I am excited to read more from this author.
