Book: A Court of Wings and Ruin
Author: Sarah J. Maas
Star Rating: ⭐️4/5⭐️
This is book 3 in the ACOTAR series! I’m finding the more I read the series, the more I enjoy it.
I have really connected and gotten to know the characters which is something I don’t come across much in thrillers books. Even for detective series with 10+ books, you just don’t get the opportunity to bond with them as much!
The plot of this book is essentially about a war which isn’t my usual thing but I’ve really not minded it. The spice again, was no where near as bad as I thought it would be and I just skimmed those scenes.
I do think the vocabulary Sarah J Mass uses is a little repetitive. I think the characters purr at one another on every other page and that phrase is getting a little annoying now. 😂
Initially I preferred this book to ACOMAF but it’s pretty close between them as I think this book was maybe just a tad too long!
And now, back to some dark and disturbing thrillers before I continue on with the series!
If you like the sound of this, it is available on Amazon here.
