Emma Reads Crime

This is a horror novel told from child Bella’s perspective. She is being haunted by an entity she calls “Other Mommy,” who wants to go inside Bella’s heart.

I found this book an incredibly difficult book to rate! I listened to this on audiobook and I thought the performance was fantastic and one of the best audiobooks books I have ever listened to (not that I’ve listened to a tonne).

However, on the other hand, I think if I had been reading the book physically, I don’t think I would have enjoyed this nearly as much.

I thought it started off really strong and I was so creeped out. Then however, I found it did drag and the ending was very unsatisfactory!
