Book: The Tenant
Author: Freida McFadden
Star Rating: ⭐️4/5⭐️
Blake Porter has it all. A high flying job, a great home and a gorgeous fiancée. However, he is abruptly fired from his job and in order to make ends meet, he has to get a tenant. He rents a room out to beautiful, charming Whitney. However, something isn’t quite right…
I felt a slump coming on. I really needed an easy, popcorn thriller and this was just what I needed! It was an easy read which I binged in a short number of hours!
It was little unhinged and stressful at times but also weirdly light hearted and fun! My main criticism is that the twist was shocking but again, as I’ve found with her other books, a little random and no clues were dropped in the story prior.
Overall an enjoyable and easy read and perfect if you feel a slump coming on!
