Maggie and Nina have dinner together every other night. When they are finished, Nina helps Maggie back to her room in the attic and into the heavy duty chain which stops her from escaping . Maggie has done terrible, unforgivable things to Nina and now Nina is making sure she pays the price.
So I read this in 2020 and I found it average. I re-read it and wow, I must have been in a seriously bad mood when I read it the first time…
I stand by that I think some aspects are predictable. However, the story is grippy and totally unique to other thriller books I have read! I am so glad I gave this another shot!
