Thom and Wendy have been married for 25 years. Wendy becomes worried that Thom is about to expose their deepest darkest secret and now Wendy wants to murder her husband.

The story starts at the end, it works backwards in timeline and ends and the start. I really loved this idea as a way to tell a story but unfortunately it meant the majority of the excitement was at the start of the story and then it was slow paced from there.

Instead of chapters, the story is broken up into dates and sub sections. The more you read on, the shorter the sections get, which does help to quicken the slow pace.

Towards the end, you find out the secret Wendy and Thom are hiding and I was a bit underwhelmed. However, I did love the ending. I thought it was clever and done well.

A nice idea for a story and there was a great start. I didn’t hate it and I’m glad I read it but overall, this wasn’t my cup of tea.
