This is extremely off brand for me but I was in dire need of a palate cleanser! I can’t be bothered to tell you what this is about because honestly, it is one of the worst written books I have ever read!

Reading this was one of the weirdest reading experiences I have ever had. Part of me was hate reading and the other part was strangely invested!

Even though I thought the writing was terrible, I did like their take on the magic system. There was a lot of bullying and petty school kid bullsh*t which was frustrating.

It was very difficult to give this a star rating but I think 2.5 seems fair!

Did I hate it? Yes…. Did I also find it weirdly addictive? Yes… Will I be continuing on with the series? We shall see…🤣
