The Crucifix Killer – Chris Carter
This is book 1 of the Detective Robert Hunter Series. A body of a young woman is found to have been brutally murdered and on the nape of her neck, a strange double cross has been carved. This is the signature of a Notorious serial killer, the Crucifix Killer. It seems impossible as the Crucifix Killer was caught and sentenced to death two years ago.

This is not for the faint hearted and definitely check the trigger warnings for this one! I think the blurb of this one spoils the plot so I think it’s best to go in blind. It is a character driven horror (maybe extreme horror?) book. Perfect for fans of Boy Parts, Black Sheep and Deliver Me.
